Step 1– Using a computer with internet access go to the official website of hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
Step 2– If you already have a Microsoft account, sign in to your account giving your mail ID and password. If you do not have a Microsoft account, you will have to create an account by clicking on the “sign up now” in this link option on the right side of the screen.

Step 5– To create strong password it is necessary to select a password with at least 8 characters which are case sensitive. Adding numbers and capital letters to the password will make the password more secure. Using all the 16 characters is also a good way to improve the security of your Hotmail account.
Step 6– The user can make their system to remember their email ID for signing in to the hotmail account. Click on the option “remember me on this computer” to make the system to store the email ID.
Step 7– The user can also make the system remember the password by clicking on the “remember my password” option. This will help the user reach the hotmail account emails without the need to log in each time they want to check the mails.
